ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA – Shane Ochs holds the 36-hole lead after Friday's second round at the Peoples Golf Championship, presented by Sea Palms Resort, while Wright State is in fourth as a group heading into the final round.

Ochs followed up his opening round 65 with a second round 68 on Friday and is nine-under after 36 holes, while Mikkel Mathiesen carded a round of 69 and is even par as he jumped up into a tie for 19th. Timmy Hollenbeck, competing as an individual, is also tied for 19th after he shot a 67 on Thursday.

Brock Rumpke, also competing as an individual, shot a 75 on Friday and is five-over heading into the final round, while Kye Fisher and Adam Horn are each seven-over with 18 holes to play. Fisher carded a second round 71 while Horn shot 77 on Friday. Andrew Flynn shot 79 in his second round and is 11-over with 18 holes to play.
