Riddle Score Career-High as Raiders Fall to Green Bay

DAYTON- The Wright State women's basketball team dropped its final contest of the 2025 calendar year Tuesday night in the Nutter Center, falling to Green Bay 55-89.
Wright State (5-10, 1-4 HL) will kick off 2026 in the Nutter Center on January 2 against Detroit Mercy. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
Breezie Williams and Abbie Riddle both finished with double-digit points Tuesday night. Williams led the Raiders with 20 points on 57% shooting and knocked down three shots from beyond the arc. Riddle finished with a career-high 15 points on 67% shooting. Riddle also set a new career-high with six made field goals and tied a career-high in three pointers made with two. Olivia Brown and Williams tied for the team lead in assists with three apiece. Brown also tied for the team high in rebounds with Claire Henson, as the pair each snagged five rebounds.
Williams started the game on fire for the Raiders, scoring 10 of the Raiders' 15 first-quarter points as the teams exchanged buckets early before Green Bay went on a 13-0 run to end the first quarter and start the second quarter. The Phoenix would ride that momentum to outscore the Raiders by 23 in the first half.
Wright State battled in the second half, but Green Bay kept its foot on the gas pedal, outscoring the Raiders by 11 in the final 20 minutes.
Jenna Guyer powered the Phoenix on Tuesday night with a game-high 21 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Guyer shot an efficient 75% from the floor, knocking down nine of her 12 shots. Gracie Grzesk and Meghan Schultz also finished in double digits, with Grzesk finishing with 15 points and Schultz finishing with 10. Green Bay dominated the Raiders in the paint, outrebounding the Raiders by 18, snagging 40 total rebounds. The Phoenix capitalized on its nine offensive rebounds, turning them into 12 second-chance points. Green Bay also held a 34-point scoring advantage in the paint.
