Wright State ranked No. 12 in NTCA December Coaches Poll

DAYTON – The Wright State Bowling team remains regarded among the top teams in the country, cemented with the No. 12 national ranking in the National Tenpin Coaches Association's December Coaches Poll, announced by the organization on December 9.

Wright State was one of 12 Conference USA teams ranked inside the Top 20 teams after the conclusion of fall action. Preseason favorite Jacksonville State remains atop the rankings after a strong opening campaign, with Conference USA members making up the rest of the top seven, followed by Sacred Heart at No. 11 and the Raiders at No. 12. The Raiders climbed to No. 12 following a preseason No. 20 ranking. Wright State finished the fall with a 43-16 head-to-head mark across the fall portion of its schedule, recording five Top 5 finishes while also winning its annual Raider Classic in November. Wright State Bowlers earned 12 different all-tournament accolades from the six fall events.

Wright State returns to action January 16-18 at the Northeast Classic in Delaware, the first of six spring events ahead of the Conference USA Championship, slated for March 19-22 in Louisiana.
