Ochs named HL Golfer of the Week for second time

INDIANAPOLIS/DAYTON – Wright State's Shane Ochs has been named the Horizon League Golfer of the Week for the second time this season, the League office announced on Thursday afternoon.
Ochs helped lead Wright State to its first tournament title of the spring at The Jewell as he finished second individually at two-under, one shot behind the individual winner.

Ochs carded a final round even par 71 on Tuesday with three birdies and three bogeys, including birdies on holes 15 and 17 down the stretch. He began the final round in second individually after tallying four birdies and working around two bogeys on the way to his two-under opening round 69.
The Raiders are set to host the Wright State Invitational on April 13 and 14 at Heatherwoode Golf Club in a final tuneup before the Horizon League Championship April 19-21 in Florida.
