BOWLING GREEN, KY – The Wright State volleyball team came all the way back on Friday night to grab a five set reverse sweep over Drake in the Raiders' second match of the afternoon at the WKU Invitational.
After dropping two close sets (25-22, 25-17) to begin the night, the Raiders (1-1) tallied six of the final nine points in set three to stay alive before using a 6-1 run to win set four and force the deciding fifth set. With the deciding set going back-and-forth and eventually tied 13-all,
Katie Sowko finished off the win with back-to-back kills to complete the reverse sweep over Drake (0-2).
Wright State wraps up its first weekend of action on Saturday afternoon with a 12 p.m. first serve against Loyola Chicago.

The Raiders finished the win hitting .185 for the night overall but had set hitting percentages of .258, .343 and .300 as part of the comeback. Drake hit .180 as a group for the night.
Mya Ayro turned in a match-best and career-high 25 kills, her third career match with 20-plus kills, as she added six digs and a pair of blocks, while
Katie Sowko delivered her first collegiate double-double with 17 kills and 17 digs. The 17 kills marked the first time in her career she's notched double-digit kills, while the 17 digs were one off her personal best.
Lauren Yacobucci tallied a double-double of her own with 34 assists and 12 digs, while
Fiona Cooper also had double-digit assists with 16.
Taygan Corstange (19) and
Greta McKee (11) also finished the win with double-digit digs.
