Four in double figures fuels Friday road win

MILWAUKEE – Four players finished with double digit scoring nights as the Wright State men's basketball team went on the road for a 76-69 Friday night victory over Milwaukee in the first of two contests in Wisconsin this weekend.
Wright State (14-8, 9-2 Horizon League) looks to keep the momentum going on Sunday afternoon with a 2 p.m. ET tipoff at Green Bay, who lost at home Friday night to drop to two games back of the first-place Raiders in the standings. Fans can follow the all of Sunday's action several ways – on ESPN+, via live stats or by tuning in to the Wright State Radio Network – 101.5 FM 'The Fridge' and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play action on the radio feed.
Wright State led by 10 at the half and jumped up to a 19-point lead early in the second half before being able to weather the storm from Milwaukee (9-14, 5-7 Horizon), who cut the margin to just four points with eight minutes to play. The Raiders responded with five of the next seven points to regain control, and later rolled off 11 straight points in the closing minutes to secure the road win.
TJ Burch tallied 12 of his team-leading 18 points in the first half as he finished with a complete stat line, adding four steals, four rebounds and three assists, while Dominic Pangonis notched 10 of his 16 points over the opening 20 minutes as he chipped in five rebounds and three assists. Michael Cooper notched three three-pointers on the way to 13 points and Solomon Callaghan scored all 12 of his points in the second half with the aid of a pair of triples.
Michael Imariagbe grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds – nine of which came in the second half – while adding eight points and Kellen Pickett pulled down seven rebounds of his own to go with five points.
Wright State shot 46 percent overall (28-of-61) while connecting on five of its seven three-pointers in the second half (7-26, 27 percent), while Milwaukee finished shooting 42 percent (29-of-69) with five three-pointers (5-25, 20 percent). The Raiders grabbed 30 of their 41 total rebounds on the defensive glass, but turned their 11 offensive rebounds into 16 second chance points.
Milwaukee was led by Amar Augillard's 19 points, while Aaron Franklin also finished in double figures with 13 points in the loss for the hosts.
