Bowlers back in action in Chicagoland

DAYTON – The No. 12 Wright State bowling team is set for a weekend full of action at the Flyer Classic throughout the weekend. The three-day tournament at Strike & Spare II in Lockport, Illinois, will begin on Friday at 11:35 a.m. ET, and the championship will be decided on Sunday.

The tournament opens Friday morning at 11:35 a.m. ET, with the first day of competition comprised of five baker matches. Saturday morning gets underway with traditional team matches beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET. Action closes on Sunday starting at 10:30 a.m. ET with best-of-seven baker matches in bracket play.

The Raiders will be represented by Hannah Dingledine, Kylie Fisher, Emma Hatfield, Rylie Jeanneret, Addy Meshew, Dottie Sayles, Mia Sayles and Alli Shattuck in the tournament.

Wright State is back in action after finishing with a 9-4 record last weekend at the Columbia 300 Saints Invite to finish seventh, tallying wins against No. 4 Nebraska, No. 6 Wichita State and No. 10 Maryville over the course of the weekend. Wright State tallied a total weekend pinfall of 13,890 and had a game average of 201.3. Rylie Jeanneret led the Raiders in 13th individually with a total pinfall of 1,113 and a 222.6 average, followed by Jasmine Schulze in 20th with her 1,065 total pinfall and 213.0 average.
