DAYTON – Wright State head men's basketball coach Clint Sargent has announced the addition of transfer CJ O'Hara to join the Raider program.
O'Hara, a 6-4 guard from Minneapolis, Minnesota, joins the Raiders after spending his first two collegiate seasons at Green Bay, where he played in 64 games with 34 starts and was a Horizon League Third Team performer in 2025-26.
"CJ is a proved producer in this League, and we really value the pressure he puts on the rim along with his offensive physicality," Sargent said. "We're focused on bringing in two-way players who can impact the game in every area, and CJ fits that mold perfectly."
O'Hara played in 64 games at Green Bay the last two seasons, including starting all 33 contests in 2025-26. Last season, he averaged 14.1 points per game while shooting 57.0 percent overall from the floor, grabbing 4.4 rebounds per contest while averaging just under 37 minutes per game. O'Hara scored in double figures 27 times last season, including 11 straight games to end the regular season, and scored a career-high 23 points at Northern Kentucky in February. He shot over 50 percent from the floor in 23 games, including going 8-of-8 from the floor against Milwaukee in January, while he grabbed five-plus rebounds in 15 contests.
O'Hara becomes the sixth addition to the Wright State roster, joining fellow transfers Sam Johnson and Chadlyn Traylor, along with high school signees Terrence Hayes Jr., Noah Lewis and Tahj Martin.
