
Dollenmeyer's Top-10 Finish Paces Raiders

CLINTON, PA. — Jagger Dollenmeyer led the charge on Friday, earning at top-10 finish as the Raider men's and women's cross-country teams each finished sixth at the RMU Colonial Invitational at Youthtown XC Course.
Dollenmeyer finished ninth in the 8,000-meter race in 27:08.48, followed by Evan McPherson in 22nd (27:35.61). Michael Gale placed 34th (28:01.22), Kalib Tolle finished 36th (28:03.89) and Tyler Mimnaugh took 42nd (28:09.37) to complete the Raiders' scoring five. Matthew Lee finished 50th (28:21.00) and Santino Diligente placed 51st (28:22.35), rounding out Wright State's top seven.Â
Elle Lambert and Sydney Thompson finished back-to-back to pace the Wright State women, who placed sixth among 11 scoring teams with 172 points, seven behind fifth-place Slippery Rock. Lambert covered the 6,000-meter course in 23:56.96 to finish 25th, with Thompson following in 26th (24:03.08). Carolyn Johnson placed 41st (24:40.47), Kaitlin Thomas finished 45th (24:48.47) and Reece Barnitz took 51st (24:53.58), giving the Raiders a spread of less than a minute between their first and fifth finishers. Kayla Compton placed 53rd (24:56.68) and Samantha Seas finished 62nd (25:20.34) to complete Wright State's top seven.Â
The Runnin Raiders are back in action on October 3rd as they travel south to run at the Live in the Lou Invitational, hosted by the Louisville Cardinals.Â
