DAYTON – The Wright State women's soccer team (4-6-1, 2-1 HL) returns home to welcome Green Bay to Alumni Field on Thursday night. First touch is slated for 7 p.m.

Thursday will mark the 36th all-time meeting between Wright State and Green Bay, a series the Raiders lead 21-8-6. The Raiders fell to the Phoenix twice a season ago, including a 2-1 loss in the regular season and a 3-1 loss in the Horizon League Championship quarterfinal.

Wright State looked for a breakthrough of its own, with chances from Alyssa Peh and Taliah Pellizzari in the final 25 minutes, but neither opportunity found the target.
The decisive moment came in the 87th minute when Sarah Roy scored her first goal of the season. Mckenna Campbell-Turkalj and Monica Correa were credited with assists on the match-winning goal, giving the Huskies a 1-0 advantage with 3:24 remaining.
Lauer finished the afternoon with eight saves while playing all 90 minutes in net for the Raiders. The senior faced 18 Northern Illinois shots and kept Wright State within striking distance until the late breakthrough.
In the box score, Wright State trailed Northern Illinois in shots (18-5) and shots on goal (9-0), while holding a 4-3 edge in corner kick opportunities. The Raiders recorded five total shots from five different players.

Wright State returns a pair of All-League performers from a season ago. Caitlin Burger returns for the Raiders in midfield after earning All-League First Team honors in 2025. Burger led Wright State with 12 points and five goals, while finishing second in assists with four. Kaitlyn Eyink returns for the Raiders after picking up All-League Third Team honors last season.
