Wright State University Athletics

Eric Bornholdt has been with the Wright State Sports Medicine Staff full time since September of 2017. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Iowa State University in 2014, and his Master of Science degree in Sport Management from Northern Illinois University in 2016.

Prior to arriving at Wright State, Bornholdt served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Northern Illinois University from 2014-2016, primarily working with NIU Baseball.  Bornholdt also served as an Athletic Trainer at Jacksonville University from 2016-2017 where he worked with the Men’s Soccer & Men’s Golf teams.

Bornholdt serves as the Athletic Trainer for the Wright State Baseball team.

Bornholdt is an active member of NATA and is a BOC certified Athletic Trainer. He is currently certified in CPR/AED for the Healthcare Professional.

Bornholdt resides in Beavercreek, Ohio.
