Adam Maloney enters his fourth season with the Raiders, joining Wright State men's soccer's coaching staff in July 2022.
Maloney joined the Raiders after serving as an assistant coach at Wilmington College from 2018-2021 under current Raider assistant coach Alex Van der Sluijs. Wilmington was named the 2021 Staff of the Year in the Ohio Athletic Conference, and Maloney guided the goalkeepers to 26 shutouts over four seasons on staff.
Prior to Wilmington College, Maloney served as an assistant coach with the Carroll High School girls' soccer program for four seasons. Maloney also spent two years as a girls' assistant coach at Shawnee High School. He was named the MVSSCA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2013 after guiding the team to an undefeated league record for the first time in program history. Before training goalkeepers at GK1 Academy in Southwest Ohio, Maloney spent three seasons (2006-08) in his first stint at Shawnee High School with the boys' varsity program.
After playing collegiately as a goalkeeper at Xavier, Maloney graduated from Wright State with a degree in organizational leadership in 2008. Maloney resides in Centerville with wife Chelsie, and children Maeve and Cormac.
