The Wright State baseball team dropped its sixth straight game 14-2 to the Eastern Kentucky Colonels at Nischwitz Stadium Wednesday night.
The Raiders scored their only two runs of the game in the second-inning as designated hitter Bryan Vickers led off with a home run to center field, his sixth of the season and later added another as shortstop Justin Wilson hit into a force out that scored right fielder Adam Morton.
Overall, the Raiders had six hits and stranded six runners on base. Third baseman Matt Barhorst led the way with
two hits while Chris Tuttle, Vickers, Kofi Gyimah and Wilson all collected a hit each.
The Raiders now drop to 8-19 on the season and will take on Horizon League rival UW-Milwaukee this weekend at Nischwitz Stadium. The first game of the four-game series will start at 6:30 on Friday.
