A 13-0 run gave Wright State the lead for good and the Raiders maintained at least a nine-point advantage the rest of the way as they rolled to a 64-44 win over the Loyola Ramblers in Horizon League women's basketball action at the Nutter Center Thursday night.

Loyola later cut the margin to nine on three different occasions during the first half, but the Raiders extended the advantage to 27-8 with a 10-0 burst and led 31-17 at the break.

The Raiders shot 47 percent in the second half to finish at 42 percent overall while Loyola ended the night at 30 percent. Wright State dominated the boards by a 48-29 count, 23-10 on the offensive end, and led in points in the paint (46-8), points off of turnovers (27-17) and second-chance points (19-7).
Peddy led WSU with 13 points while Ta-myra Davis posted a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds. LaShawna Thomas added eight points and 10 boards, Erica Richardson eight points and seven rebounds and Bennett eight points as the Raider reserves outscored the Loyola bench 28-13.
