Women's Soccer Falls 1-0 at Auburn

Box Score

A goal with just 6:37 remaining in regulation was the difference as the Wright State women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Auburn Sunday.

The lone tally of the contest came at the 82:23 mark of the second half as the Tigers' Tatiana Coleman recorded her fourth goal of the season.

Auburn (4-1) outshot WSU 18-6, including 7-2 on shots on goal, and held a 4-1 edge in corner kicks.  The Raider defense, though, was able to keep the match scoreless most of the way as goalkeeper Brooke McCurdy posted six saves.

Wright State (3-2-1) heads to Oxford next weekend for the RedHawk Shootout Soccer Tournament.  The Raiders take on East Tennessee State on Friday, September 9, at 1:30 followed by Tennessee-Martin on Sunday, September 11, at noon.
