
Greene Named Horizon League Batter of the Week

Junior outfielder Kieston Greene of the Wright State baseball team has been named the Horizon League Batter of the Week for the week ending March 17, it was announced Monday by the league office.
Greene (Decatur, IL/MacArthur) led the Raiders to a 2-2 week as he batted .500 (7-for-14) with a 1.214 slugging percentage and a .611 on-base percentage, drawing four walks and striking
out just once. He scored six runs while driving in seven and was
2-for-2 in stolen base attempts.
In a 25-0 win over Wilmington on Tuesday, March 12, Greene went 3-for-3 with two home runs, a double, three RBI, four runs scored and a stolen base. In a doubleheader against Milwaukee on Saturday, March 16, Greene went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and scored a pair of runs in a
9-3 win in the opener and was 2-for-4 with two RBI in the series
finale.
Wright State (6-11, 1-2 Horizon) is scheduled to host five games this week at Nischwitz Stadium, starting with Cincinnati on Tuesday, March 19, at 5:00 followed by Toledo on Wednesday, March 20, at 6:30. The Raiders then welcome in Valparaiso for a three-game Horizon League series, beginning with a single game on Friday, March 22, at 6:30 followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, March 23, at 1:00.
