
Men's Soccer Hosts NKU

The Wright State Raiders (8-5-1, 4-2-0) will host the Northern Kentucky Norse (6-3-4, 2-2-2) at Alumni Field Saturday at 7 pm. If you are unable to attend, you can catch the game on ESPN3.
Wright State
The Raiders are coming off a league loss at Milwaukee last Saturday. Stefan Rokvic scored the first goal of the evening with the assist from Florian Hoffmann, just a little over 20 minutes into the game. Milwaukee scored its first goal at 52:48, only to have Rokvic score four minutes later off an assist from Eric Hutton. WSU goalie Joel Sundell had five saves for the evening, but WSU could not hold off the Panthers in a 3-2 loss in overtime.Â
Wright State is averaging more goals per game (1.64) than their opponents (1.21), and a higher shot on goal percentage with a 0.443. As a team, the Raiders not only are out shooting their opponents, but they have had more saves (52) as well. AJ Paterson leads the team with seven goals, followed closely by Rokvic with six goals. Alec Philippe leads the team with four assist, and Joel Sundell has 24 saves with three matches remaining in the regular season.
NKU
The Norse are looking for a victory coming into this game with a tie and two losses in their last three games. Last Saturday, they hosted UIC, tying 0-0. NKU had 17 shot with two on goal by Alex Greive and Rikard Lindqvist. Goalkeeper Jim Barkei had 10 saves for the evening.Â
NKU is averaging 12.5 shots per game, with 1.23 of those ending in goals. Their goalies have 54 saves on the season. Tom Suchecki and Rikard Lindqvist lead the team with four goals apiece and Suchecki leads with two assists. NKU goalie Jim Barkei has 49 saves..

Wright State is currently second in the Horizon League with three conference games remaining. The final three games are important if the Raiders wish to catch first place Green Bay. Northern Kentucky has four games left in the season, including three conference games. The Norse is currently seventh in the Horizon League.
