The Wright State women's soccer team won 2-1 over UIC Monday night in the first round of the Horizon League Championship at WSU's Alumni Field. The Raiders are now 12-7 overall, the most wins since 13 victories in 2007.

The Flames notched the first goal on a header by Tamae Douglass as she received a corner kick in the box at 20:10. The assist went to Olivia Everin.

Sarah Colvin came up with the game winner at 77:23 with an unassisted tally. It was her seventh goal of the year and fourth game winner.
The Flames led 16-10 in shots, but both teams had seven shots on goal.
Jordyne Helinski led the Raiders with three shots. WSU goalie
Maddie Jewell made six saves.
