
Wenzler Individual Leader After Day Two of Golf League Championship

Wright State senior Ryan Wenzler shot a 69 on Monday and leads the field by four strokes after the second round of the Horizon League Golf Championship, held in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
After carding a 73 in Sunday's first round, Wenzler recorded a 3-under 69 on Monday to go up four strokes on a three-way tie between Kyle Gaines of Detroit Mercy, Cleveland State's Anton Krecic and Ryan Reinke of Green Bay.
Junior Chris Rossi is tied for 18th with a two-round score of 154 while freshman Austin Schoonmaker is tied for 24th at 157.
The final round is set to begin at 7:30 Tuesday morning, with Wenzler, the 2017 Horizon League Co-Player of the Year and the medalist of last year's tournament, set to tee off at 9:00.
