Raiders are 2-1 after Toledo Win
The Wright State men's basketball team will look to continue their roll after defeating Toledo Wednesday 84-74 as they host North Florida Saturday at 3 pm. The game can be heard on Big 106.5, the iHeart App or watched on ESPN3 with Chris Collins and Jim Brown.Â

Wright State
The Raiders, 2-1, have early-season wins over Western Carolina and Toledo. WSU defeated Toledo Wednesday night 84-74 behind the four Raiders in double-figure scoring, including two that posted double-doubles. Cole Gentry collected his career-high 30 points while Loudon Love had 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Skyelar Potter ended with 13 points and 11 boards. Bill Wampler added 17 points. The Raiders took to the boards as they outrebounded the Rockets 48-27. Those four also average in double figure scoring, led by Wampler at 16.7 and Gentry at 16.3. Love leads with 8.7 rebounds a game.
The teams are knotted at one win each over the years as UNF won 75-67 at home in 2011 as part of the Global Sports Shootout and WSU won 75-67 at home in the Men versus Breast Cancer Classic in 2016.
North Florida
The Ospreys, 1-2, also won Wednesday night 95-83 against Edward Waters College at home. Four collected double-figure points and were led by Ivan Gandia-Rosa with 21 points as Wajid Aminu ended with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Garrett Sama leads the team in scoring at 15.7 a game with Noah Horchler is right behind at 14.5 points and 11.0 rebounds. However, Horchler did not play Wednesday night.
Horchler and Gandia-Rosa were both named to the ASUN Preseason team with Horchler selected as the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. Gandia-Rosa led the league in assists a year ago at 6.2. Horchler was on the second-team ASUN last year as he averaged 15.1 points and 10.8 rebounds a game. As a team, UNF was picked to finish fourth in the coaches and media polls while Lipscomb was tabbed to win the league.

The Raiders will travel to Cancun, Mexico where they play Penn State Tuesday at 8:30 PM eastern and SMU or Bradley Wednesday at 6 or 8:30 pm. Both games will be shown live on CBS Sports Network or fans can listen to Chris Collins and Jim Brown on Big 106.5 and the iHeart app.
