Raiders look to get back to winning ways Sunday at Michigan State

The Wright State women's basketball team will hit the road to play at Michigan State on Sunday, Nov. 18th at 1:00 pm.
Wright State
The 1-2 Raiders are coming off a 63-79 loss against Belmont on Thursday night. Coming off of the bench, freshman Angel Baker is leading scoring with 14.3 points per game and shooting .630 from the field. After reaching the 1,000 point career milestone a season ago, Emily Vogelpohl is also scoring in the double digits, averaging 12.7, boosted by her .462 shooting from beyond the arc. Sophomore Tyler Frierson averages 9.3 points per game and is also leading the Raiders on the other end of the court where she is averaging 8.7 rebounds.
Michigan State
The Spartans are 2-0 on the season with wins over Bowling Green and East Tennessee State in which they won by an average of 26 points. Averaging 87 points per game, the high-powered MSU offense is led by six players scoring in double-digits. Jenna Allen, a 6-foot-4 center, is the focal-point of the Spartan team where she averages 13.5 points and 9.5 boards. Allen is also an integral part of a stifling Spartan defense who is holding opponents to 63 points per game and allows teams to shoot just .370 from the field.
