Softball Drops Two

The Wright State softball team opened play in the FGCU/Four Points by Sheraton Invitational on Friday in Fort Myers, FL with a 6-3 loss to Southern Illinois and a 5-2 loss to Stony Brook. 

GAME ONE

Against SIU, Macy Gunther and Kaitlyn Skinner each had two hits for the Raiders while Kelly Dillow had a triple with two RBI.  Jordan Kennaw and Madison Mills also picked up hits for the Raiders.  Ashley Sharp took the loss in relief.

GAME TWO

Against Stony Brook, the Raiders Kaitlyn Skinner and Kelly Dillow drove in a run each but it wasn't enough as the Raiders fell 5-2 to Stony Brook Friday afternoon.  Honnah Susor, Madison Whitaker and Rebekah Lenos each added hits as well for Wright State.  Ashley Sharp picked up the loss for the Raiders.
