@WSU_TF_XC Competes Twice This Week

In preparation for the Horizon League Championships, the Wright State track team will compete in the Otterbein Twilight Invitational on April 20 and then the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus on April 21.
The team recently competed in the Miami Duals winning four out of five competitions at the meet only falling to host Miami. Tessa Baker (3000 meter steeple), Victoria Angelopoulos (800 meter run), Brooklyn Mikesell (400 meter hurdles), and Aurora Turner (300 meter run) led the way for the Raiders on Saturday, each notching a first place finish. Maria Heckman and Abigail Halsey added second place finishes for Wright State in the pole vault and 3000 meter steeple respectively.
The Raiders seniors are Katie Abrahamowicz, Kiersten Hook, and Jessica Swartz. Swartz is the current season leader for the 5,000 meter run with a time of 18:05.77 minutes. Abrahamowicz is the season's current leader with bests in the long jump, 5.13 meters, and the triple jump, 11.27 meters.
