Cincinnati, OH - The Wright State women's soccer team hit the road Friday, visiting American Conference foe Cincinnati, where it fell in a 2-0 contest to the Bearcats.
First Half
The Raiders were on their heels the majority of the first half and were unable to register a shot in the first frame. The Bearcats were finally able to break through and score the first goal of the game in the 16th minute, as Sydney Kilgore settled a cross into the box, turned and put the ball in the net. The Bearcats registered 10 shots in the first half, but the score remained 1-0 heading into the locker room.
Second Half
The second half went much the way of the first, with the Raiders spending a lot of time in their own end of the field. Wright State was able to register four shots in the second half, but only one was on frame and was saved by goalkeeper Jane Sensibaugh. Raiders goalkeeper
Maddie Jewell made four saves on the match, but surrendered one more goal in the second half to UC's Sophie Gorman in the 51st minute, which would establish the final score of 2-0.
Aaliyah Patten led all Raiders with two shots on the match.

The Raiders continue their road swing this Sunday, when they travel to Kalamazoo, MI to take on the Broncos of Western Michigan. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
