Wright State
On Thursday night the Raiders won their game against the Green Bay Phoenix by a score of 85-67. Thursday's game marked the first time that Wright State had beaten Green Bay in nearly five years. With a strong game under the basket and came up with 26 second chance points in part due to their 15 offensive rebounds The effort was supported by the shooting performance from behind the arc. Mackenzie Taylor led all Raiders with 18 points, Michal Miller came away with 16, and Imani Partlow added another 10 points. With the win Wright State moves to 11-4 overall and 3-0 in the Horizon League. The Raiders currently sit atop the conference standings with Youngstown State(11-3, 3-0). Wright State currently sits at 10th in this week's Mid-Major Top-25 poll.
Milwaukee
Also on Thursday night, the Panthers played a neck and neck game against Raiders' rival, Northern Kentucky. The effort was just not enough though as the Panthers fell to the Norse by a score of 54-55. Northern Kentucky ended the game by scoring the final six points of the game to steal one away from Milwaukee. The Panthers sit at 5-8 and have begun their conference slate at 0-2 with losses to Northern Kentucky and a 14 point loss to Green Bay.
