
Raiders hit the road to face UIC

The Wright State men's soccer program travels to the Windy City on Saturday night to face the UIC Flames. The Raiders are coming off 2-3 overtime loss against Horizon League opponent Oakland, while the Flames are also coming off a 2-3 loss at Northern Kentucky.
Midfielder Jackson Dietrich put the Raiders up in the 13' when he converted on a penalty kick. Oakland answered just two minutes in the 14' to tie things at one and scored again in the 19' to take the lead. Forward Ids Hannema answered for the Raiders in the 29' to tie the match at 2-2. Oakland would answer in the 90 + 8' and ultimately walk away 3-2 victors.
In 2018 regular-season action, the Raiders and Flames played to a 1-1 draw on October 6 at Alumni Field.
