A pair of second half goals lifted the Wright State women's soccer team to a 3-1 Horizon League victory over Detroit Mercy on the road Saturday night.

The win improves the Raiders to 9-3-2 on the season and 4-2 in Horizon League play, while Detroit Mercy falls to 2-10-2 overall and 0-5-1 in conference action.

Wright State took an early lead just 2:13 into the game as
Sydni Callahan converted on a penalty kick opportunity to give the Raiders the advantage on the road that they took into the halftime break. The game was tied minutes into the second half, as the Titans were able to knot the game at 1-all thanks to an own goal in the 49
th minute.

The Raiders took the lead for good in the 56
th minute when
Brittney Petrosky took a cross into the box from
Jordyne Helinski and found the back of the net before
Haley Walton added one final goal in the 70
th minute via a loose ball in the box.
