The Wright State women's soccer team returns to Alumni Field on Friday night for its final home contest of the 2019 regular-season campaign. The 10-4-2 (5-3-0 in Horizon play) Raiders welcome the 5-8-3 (3-4-1 in Horizon play) Vikings.
The Raiders are coming off a 0-3 road loss at IUPUI on Sunday, October 27. IUPUI lead at the half after a goal from Valentine Pursey in the 18'. The hosts added to the lead minutes into the second half thanks to a converted penalty kick from Pursey, while Elizabeth Bueckers capped the scoring for the Jaguars in the 79'. Â

- The Vikings return Stevie Holbrook in goal who started 18 matches for Cleveland State last season. Holbrook posted an 11-6-1 overall record and had a 0.81 goals against average to go along with six shutouts. She had a 0.48 GAA in eight league matches.
- The CSU backline returns a solid core group of players in seniors Toni Dickson and Kailah Ransom and junior Essence Canady. Dickson started the first two matches of last season before suffering a season-ending injury.
- Cleveland State won a school-record 11 matches in 2018 and ad- vanced to the Horizon League Tournament championship match against Milwaukee.
