Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Helinski’s goal leads Raiders over Green Bay

Jordyne Helinski's goal in the 63rd minute broke a scoreless tie on Sunday afternoon and was all that the Wright State women's soccer team needed to get past Green Bay with a 1-0 road victory.

The win improves the Raiders to 8-2-2 overall on the year and 3-1 in Horizon League action, while Green Bay falls to 6-6-1 overall and remains winless in HL play at 0-3-1.

After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Helinski found the back of the net off a header from a centering pass delivered by Makaylee Zuercher and that held up to be the eventual game-winner. Maddie Jewell finished with four saves in net for the Raiders in the win.
