After a hard fought 90 minutes, the Wright State women's soccer team was handed a 3-1 loss from Northern Kentucky on Monday night during a Horizon League Tournament quarterfinals match.

The Norse started the scoring efforts in the 23' as Lindsey Meyer connected on a pass by Hannah Fischer for her third goal of the season. Northern Kentucky increased their lead in the 41' as Shawna Zaken connected with the back of the net for her 12th goal of the season. In the 73' Wright State's Sydni Callahan cut the lead in half for her second goal of the season. Zaken recorded her second goal of the night for the Norse in the 87' as she fired a shot from outside the box.

With the loss, The Raiders finish their season 10-6-2 overall. Northern Kentucky will advance to the Horizon League Semifinals on Thursday, November 7 and face the number two seeded UIC.
