@WSU_WTennis Heads to South Bend and Kalamazoo

The Wright State women's tennis team will be hitting the road this weekend for three matches. On Saturday, the Raiders will face Michigan State at 2:00 PM then will play Notre Dame at 5:00 PM. On Sunday, the Raiders will travel to Kalamazoo to face the Western Michigan Broncos at 10:00 AM.Â
Wright State
The Raiders are coming off of a 5-2 win against Saint Francis last Sunday. In doubles, first pairing Luisa Pelayo and Grace Whitney moved to 4-1 on the season with their 6-2 win. Madison Riley and Haily Morgan are still maintaining a perfect record this season. With their 6-0 win, Riley and Morgan move to 5-0 on the season. Adding another victory against Saint Francis, Jillian Milano improved her season record to 4-1 in singles competition.Â
Michigan State
The Spartans are 5-3 on the season and have won their last two matches. Last Saturday, Michigan State beat Connecticut by a score of 6-1 and then swept Bowling Green in the afternoon with a 4-0 matchup. On the season, the Spartans can also claim victories against Montana, Virginia Commonwealth and Xavier.Â
Notre Dame
The Fighting Irish are 5-2 on the season and are playing hosts this weekend to the Raiders and the Spartans. Over the last week, Notre Dame added two more tallies to their record with victories against Indiana and Purdue.Â
Western Michigan
The Broncos are 4-4 on the season but have dropped three straight decisions. Before facing Wright State on Sunday, Michigan State will have to face off against another Horizon League team with Green Bay on Friday night.Â
