In their first matchup of the day, the Wright State women's tennis team fell to the Spartans by a score of 0-7

Doubles
The Raiders lost the doubles points against the Spartans but put up a fight in their matches. First pairing Haily Morgan and Madison Riley lost 4-6 against Spartans Maja Pietrowicz and Emily Metcalf. Although the match went unfinished, Jillian Milano and Andreea Craciun went the distance against Caroline Szabo and Julia Fenn before the match was called.

Although the Raiders went winless against the Spartans in singles competition, they did get close matches from Luisa Pelayo and Andreea Craciun. After losing the first set, Pelayo was able to push back against Lauren Lemonds by winning a dominating second 6-1 before falling in the the third 10-6. Craciun also pushed her opponent, Maja Pietrowicz, to extra sets. After taking the first by a score of 6-0, Pietrowicz rallied against Craciun to take the match in the second and third.
