@WSU_MTennis Play Two League Teams; Hosts Wittenberg on Senior Day

The Wright State men's tennis team is set to play three matches this weekend beginning with Youngstown State, then finishing off their regular season slate with Cleveland State and Wittenberg on Sunday. The Raiders' match against Wittenberg will be the team's Senior Day with Donovan Cellupica-Towers and Fernando Nardelli being recognized prior to the start of the match. Saturday will be played outdoors at Cedarville University and Sunday will be played indoors at South Regency.
Wright State
The Raiders stand at 7-16 and 0-4 in league play this season. Last weekend, the Raiders suffered an 0-7 loss to the Marquette Eagles and a 1-6 loss to the Green Bay Phoenix.
Param Pun holds the most wins in singles competition for the Raiders with a 12-11 record at the top of the order. Pun is paired with Lorenzo Maccarini to form the Raiders' best doubles team. Pun and Maccarini have a 13-7 record, good for most doubles wins among conference teams.
Youngstown State
The Penguins are 8-7 and 1-1 in the conference this spring. Youngstown State took a close loss last weekend against Cleveland State, coming out on the short end of a 3-4 team score. Prior to their match against Wright State, the Penguins will play at Northern Kentucky on Friday afternoon.
In singles competition, Danylo Veremeichuk and Erik Gran both lead the Penguins with 7-7 records. In the number one spot of the doubles teams, Danylo Veremeichuk and Joao Garretto hold a 7-6 record this spring.
Cleveland State
The Vikings are 13-7 overall and possess a 2-0 league record this spring. Last weekend, the Vikings took a close 4-3 match against the Youngstown State Penguins and extended their winning streak to four matches. Before playing Wright State in Dayton, the Vikings will be playing another Horizon League opponent in Northern Kentucky on Saturday.
The Vikings boast a strong singles lineup with Clark Bilinovich (14-4), Nico Mostardi (11-6), Luke Phillips (12-6), and Raul Teichmann (10-7). Playing their matches at the top of the order, Nico Mostardi and Benjamin Slade stand at 9-6 in doubles competition this spring.
Wittenberg
The Tigers are 9-6 and 0-2 in their conference this spring. Last weekend, the Tigers fell to the Denison Big Red 9-0. Before playing in Wright State's Senior Day match, Wittenberg are set to play DePauw and Wabash in conference play.
Martin Mora (12-5) and Gavin Tay (12-6) are the Tigers' leaders in singles competition. On the doubles courts, Joe Patton and Gavin Tay are 9-2 and Luke Minard and Martin Mora stand at 7-2 this season.
