The Wright State men's tennis team recorded its second victory of the 2020 season over Thomas More 7-0 at the South Regency Tennis and Fitness Center Sunday morning.

Senior Param Pun recorded his fifth victory of the season, defeating Thomas More's Gavin Dail at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-2. Javier Alvarez defeated Sergui Bermeio 7-5, 6-1. Leighton Brandon was pushed to three sets at No. 3 singles, but would defeat Ethan Caruso 6-2, 6-7, 1-0, before Theo Bourghelle defeated Jared Haught 6-3, 6-1. William Morton and Carlos Sanchez each recorded victories as well.

In doubles action, it was yet another clean sweep for the Raiders as the team of Param Pun/Theo Bourghelle defeated Gavin Dail/Jared Haught 6-1. Javiver Alvarez/Leighton Brandon defeated Thomas More's team of Sergio Bermeio/Ethan Caruso 6-3, while the team of William Morton/Carlos Sanchez defeated Jaret Fidler/Brandon Kwok 6-0.

The Raiders are back in action this weekend with three road matches. Wright State takes on Wisconsin on Friday night before a Saturday afternoon matchup with Chicago State and finishes the weekend against DePaul on Sunday. Wright State then returns home for three straight matches beginning on March 14.
