Raiders set for four-game homestand beginning Thursday

The Horizon League-leading Wright State men's basketball team returns home to the Nutter Center for its final four home games of the regular season, beginning on Thursday night.

The Raiders (19-5 overall, 9-2 HL) host Detroit Mercy to open the homestand at 7 p.m. on Thursday before welcoming in Oakland on Saturday night, also at 7 p.m., to end the week. Wright State then gets ready for UIC next Friday, February 14 in what will be a 9 p.m. tipoff in front of the national audience on ESPN2 before Senior Day on February 16 (2 p.m.) against IUPUI.

Wright State has a 10-2 record at home and has won seven straight contests inside the Nutter Center this season. Detroit Mercy begins this week 6-17 overall and 4-6 in HL play, while Oakland is currently at 3-7 in the Horizon and is 8-15 overall. UIC sits at 11-13 (6-5 HL) to start the week and IUPUI is 6-18 overall and 2-9 in league action.

Thursday's game against Detroit Mercy will be a White Out with the first 4,000 fans receiving t-shirts, while Saturday's contest against Oakland will be the All Sport Raider Reunion as we welcome back our former student-athletes and recognize members of the men's and women's basketball 1,000-point club. Next Friday against UIC will be a Black Out with the first 4,000 fans receiving t-shirts.
