The Wright State women's tennis team split a pair of contests Friday night falling to the University of Buffalo 6-1 before defeating Binghamton 5-2 in Buffalo, NY for the Raiders first victory of the season.
U. of Buffalo
In singles action, Jillian Milano defeated Buffalo's Gabriella Akopyan 6-3, 6-2, 1-0(7) before Grace Whitney pushed Azra Deniz Comlek to three sets but was defeated 6-1, 3-6, 6-2.
In doubles action, the team of Luisa Pelayo/Grace Whitney defeated Buffalo's team of Pia Schwarz/Ambre Amat 6-1 to record the Raiders only point. The team of Anna Jones and Anna Marie Reynolds push the team of Emel Abibula and Azra Deniz Comlek but fell 7-5.

In doubles action, it was a straight sweep for the Raiders as the team of Luisa Pelayo/Grace Whitney defeated the team of Michelle Eisenberg/Samara Eisenberg 6-0. Andreea Craciun/Jillian Milano defeated Binghamton's Kyra Bergmann/Jamie Lau 6-2. In the final doubles contest, Anna Jones and Anna Marie Reynolds defeated Ashley Granieri and Julia Gumieniak 4-3.
