Raider Student-Athletes Celebrate Graduation

A total of 34 current or former Wright State student-athletes have completed their degree requirements and would have graduated in the commencement ceremony held inside the Nutter Center on Saturday, May 5.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the university's in-person ceremony has been postponed, however, the Wright State Athletic Department took to social media to celebrate the graduating student-athletes for their successes in the classroom and the fields of play.
"You've successfully juggled full-time academics with full-time athletics – very few people can do that," Director of Athletics Bob Grant said in a video message to the group.
"We are so unbelievably proud of you and wish we could all see you walking… I expect you to come back as soon as possible and sign the graduate wall! Congratulations, we are really proud of you," Grant added.
Additionally, each of the Wright State head coaches sent personal messages to their graduating student-athletes:
