The Wright State men's basketball team continues its longest homestand of the season this weekend inside the Nutter Center when Cleveland State comes to town. Both contests are scheduled for 7 p.m. tipoffs.
Raider fans can follow the action on ESPNU on Friday and ESPN3 on Saturday. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will be calling the play-by-play on WRZX 106.5 FM both days, and can also be heard on ESPN3 on Saturday.

Last time out, Wright State split a pair of Horizon League contests last weekend against Youngstown State, falling 74-72 on Friday night before bouncing back with a 93-55 win on Saturday. Friday saw
Tanner Holden lead Wright State with 17 points, while
Tim Finke turned in 16 points and 11 rebounds for the second straight Friday night.
Trey Calvin tallied 13 points while
Loudon Love finished with 12 points and seven rebounds.
Grant Basile rounded out the double figure scorers with 11 points. Saturday saw six players score in double digits, with Holden leading the way, tying a season-best with 24 points as he collected the only double-double of the afternoon, finishing with 10 rebounds while also adding four assists and two steals. Love tallied 15 points and eight rebounds – giving him exactly 1,000 career rebounds.
Alex Huibregtse set a new career-best with 12 points on four three-point baskets, while Basile, Finke and
James Manns all notched 11 points in the win.
THE VIKING AGE
Cleveland State comes to the Nutter Center 8-3 overall and 8-0 in Horizon League play. Wright State and Cleveland State have previously met 75 times entering this weekend's action, with the Raiders having won six straight in the series, and 10 of the last 12 overall. Wright State has won the last five matchups inside the Nutter Center. The Raiders tallied a pair of victories over the Vikings last season, including Coach
Scott Nagy's 500th career win last February, and have a 41-34 overall series lead.
BELIEVE-LAND
Cleveland State is coming off of a weekend sweep of Northern Kentucky to improve to 8-0 in the Horizon League, their best start to Horizon League play in program history. The Vikings are off to their best start in any league/conference play since beginning the 1992-93 season 14-0 (Mid-Continent Conference). Cleveland State is in the midst of its longest winning streak since the 2010-11 season (12 straight games). Tre Gomillion has started in every game of his Cleveland State career (43 starts). The junior has had a career season thus far, pouring in a career-high 23 points on a near-perfect 11-12 (.917) shooting from the floor on Dec. 27, 2020. D'Moi Hodge had a record-setting performance against Purdue Fort Wayne on Dec. 20. Hodge poured in a NCAA-high 46 points (as of 1/7) on 15-23 (.652) shooting from the floor, including a 10-15 (.667) clip from deep, a game-high seven rebounds, three assists and a game-high tying four steals in 32 minutes of action.

Head coach
Scott Nagy, who won his 500th career game last February at Cleveland State, enters the Cleveland State weekend one victory away from 100 career wins at Wright State. He will become the third head coach in program history to record 100 career wins with the Raiders, joining the legendary Ralph Underhill (356 Wright State wins in 18 years) and Billy Donlon (109 career Wright State wins in six years). Nagy is set to become the second current Horizon League head coach to reach 100 wins at the League school, joining Oakland's Greg Kampe. Kampe is the only other current Horizon League head coach with 500-plus career wins overall.
ONE MORE RING TO CLIMB
Loudon Love recorded his 1,000th career rebound in Wright State's Jan. 9 win over Youngstown State, making him the second Raider to reach the mark all-time, joining former Wright State women's basketball standout Symone Simmons and her 1,050 career rebounds.
