Women's Soccer heads west to take on Oklahoma State Sunday night

DAYTON – The Wright State women's soccer team hits the road for the second time in the young season for a Sunday night matchup at Oklahoma State. The Raiders and Cowgirls will square off at 8 p.m. ET and the match can be followed via live stats and on ESPN+.

The Raiders (1-0-1) have played a pair of double overtime contests to begin the season, winning the opener 2-1 at Marshall on Olga Massombo's golden goal early in the second extra session before battling to a 1-1 draw on Thursday night after Michelle Rings' late second half score knotted the game for the extra time.
Oklahoma State is 2-1 early in the year and coming off of a 2-0 victory on Thursday night at Oklahoma. The Cowgirls were also 2-0 winners in their season opener against UTSA, but dropped a 3-2 overtime decision on August 22 at home against Pittsburgh. Oklahoma State is coming off a 13-3-2 showing last season, finishing third in the Big 12 at 6-2-1 and earning its second consecutive berth in the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship as the tourney's No. 10 national seed and advanced to the Sweet 16 for the third time in program history.
The Cowgirls check in at No. 24 in this week's TopDrawerSoccer.com rankings, and are receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll after being ranked 16th in the preseason.
