Women's Soccer welcomes Youngstown State for Sunday tilt

DAYTON – The Wright State women's soccer team is set to welcome Youngstown State to Alumni Field for the Raiders' first home Horizon League contest of the season on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.

The Raiders (2-5-1) are coming off a 2-1 loss on the road against Milwaukee on Thursday night, with Destiny Johnson finding the back of the net early in the second half for Wright State. Johnson's three goals lead the Raider offense, while Olga Massombo has added two goals of her own. Johnson's six points and 17 shots pace the Raiders as well.
Youngstown State (0-6-2) is still searching for its first win of the season and is coming off of a 1-1, double overtime tie at home against Oakland on Thursday night. Abriana Rondin is the lone Penguin with multiple goals, having tallied two, while her five total points and 11 shots also lead the team. The Penguins finished the spring with both an overall and HL record of 1-7-1. Wright State and YSU met at Alumni field, with the Raiders walking away 2-1 victors.
Following Sunday's contest, the Raiders will hit the road for their second straight long road trip, making the trek to face Green Bay on Thursday night.
