DAYTON – The Wright State women's soccer team returns home to Alumni Field for its first of two matches this week as the Raiders host Butler on Thursday night.
First kick is slated for 7 p.m. and the contest can be followed via live stats. Thursday will feature a Wright State Cowbell giveaway for the first 150 fans through the gates.

The Raiders are coming off a 1-1 week, taking down Akron on the road Thursday night behind scores from
Destiny Johnson,
Olga Massombo and
Sydni Callahan, before falling at UT Martin 4-1 as
Kaylin Helinski scored the lone Raider goal. Johnson and Massombo each have two goals to lead Wright State in that category, while Massombo's five points leads all players. Johnson's 13 shots pace the Raider offensive attack.
Butler is 4-1 overall to date this fall, winners of four in a row after dropping its season opener against Michigan. The Bulldogs have tallied wins over Big 10 foes Northwestern and Illinois, along with a win over Utah and fellow Horizon member IUPUI. Butler finished the shortened spring season 10-2-0 overall and 6-1-0 in the Big East.
