DAYTON — The Wright State men's soccer team opens postseason play on Sunday afternoon when the No. 6-seeded Raiders visit No. 3 IUPUI in the Horizon League Championship quarterfinals. First touch is set for 1 p.m. and fans can follow live stats or watch on ESPN+.

HOW WE GOT HERE
With its win in Wednesday's regular season finale, Wright State moved up to 11 points in the Horizon League standings, tying the Raiders in points with Robert Morris. The Raiders and RMU battled to a tie in their head-to-head meeting this season, with the tiebreakers going from the top of the HL standings. Both lost to regular season champion Oakland, while Wright State has a 2-0 win at Green Bay this season and RMU tied with Green Bay, giving the Raiders the tiebreaker and the sixth and final spot in the Horizon League Championship.
SCOUTING THE JAGUARS
IUPUI finished the regular season 6-6-5 overall with a 4-2-3 mark in the Horizon League. The Jaguars closed the regular season with a pair of 1-1 draws and was 2-1-2 in their last five contests. IUPUI is 3-3-2 at home this season but only 1-3-2 at home after its 2-0 win over the Raiders on September 9 that capped a 3-0-1 start to the home schedule.

HISTORY VS. IUPUI
The Raiders still hold a large lead in the all-time series at 17-6-1 despite falling in the last two meetings, back in Indianapolis in September and in last year's Horizon League tournament. In the regular season meeting, Wright State recorded 10 shots as a group, led by Reece Allbaugh's four shots, while Cole Werthmuller had two shots.

LAST TIME OUT…
Wright State closed the season with a 5-1 win over Northern Kentucky on Wednesday afternoon. Jacob Adams gave Wright State a lead it would not relinquish just 91 seconds into the match when he found the upper right corner of the goal. Adams added a second tally the 39th minute before the Raiders in the 63rd minute on Reece Allbaugh's penalty kick and pushed the advantage higher in the 84th minute when Conner Osterholt found the back of the net off a give-and-go with Dominic Ruffolo, who found the scoring column himself in the 86th minute.
HIGH FIVE
The five goals scored by Wright State in the regular season finale over Northern Kentucky marked the most goals scored in a match this season for the Raiders. Wright State tallied three second half goals against NKU, the second time the Raiders have done that this season, joining the September 19 Bowling Green 3-0 win.

FRESH FACED HENRY
Henry Hutchinson earned Horizon League All-Freshman team honors when the League announced its year-end awards on November 3. Entering the postseason, Hutchinson has started eight matches and played in 12 of the team's contests, logging 630 minutes. He tallied 25 or more minutes in nine of his 12 matches played, with six matches of 60-plus minutes. Hutchinson has a pair of goals this season, against Bowling Green and Green Bay, along with a trio of assists, against Green Bay, Robert Morris and in the regular season finale against Northern Kentucky, while his seven total points are the third-most on the Raider roster. He finished the regular season recording 15 total shots, including five on Wednesday against Northern Kentucky, with six shots on goal.
COLE TRAIN
Cole Werthmuller was on a tear for the Raiders from September 19 through October 21, scoring four goals in six matches while also recording a season-best seven shots in the Oct. 7 match against Robert Morris. His 36 shots are the second-most on the roster overall while his 17 shots on frame are tied for the team lead.
SHARING THE SCORING
Wright State finds itself with six multi-goal scorers entering the postseason, paced by Reece Allbaugh's five goals. Cole Werthmuller has four goals, while Jacob Adams has three goals. Henry Hutchinson, Conner Osterholt and Brock Pickett each have two goals, while the Raiders have also seen four other players chip in one goal each.
DOWN THE STRETCH
The Raiders played four of their final six regular season contests on the road, a task that began October 10 at Bellarmine. The road stretch featured two non-conference matches and Horizon League matchups at Oakland and Cleveland State.
