The Wright State men's and women's track and field program competed at the Wittenberg Invitational on Saturday inside the Steemer Center. The meet served as the Raiders' final tune-up before heading to Purdue Fort Wayne for the Horizon League Indoor Championship from February 25-26.
WSU finished with 14 top-10 individual finishes, including six in the top-five.Â
Mia Wyngarden collected the lone victory of the day for Wright State, winning the 500-meter dash with a time of 1:20.90.Â
Cierra Lively earned a pair of top-five marks by taking second in the high jump (1.65m) and third in the triple jump (10.29m).
Callista Hess finished sixth in the triple jump (9.89m), while
Amelia Harlow was ninth (1.50m) in the high jump.Â
Three Raiders raced in the finals of the 60-meter hurdle finals, led by
Kylee Thomas (9.48),
Bekah Robertson in fourth (9.74), and
Melissa Siler in eighth (10.21).Â
Thomas added an eighth-place mark in the 400-meter dash, crossing the finish line at 1:03.35. Robertson tallied another top-10 finish in the long jump, placing eighth at 4.92 meters.Â

Another three Raiders finished top-10 out of 39 competitors in the mile run.
Emma Shigley earned fifth place with a time of 5:05.39, followed by
Alicia Neumeier in seventh (5:06.01) and
Kaitlyn Miller in eighth (5:06.44).Â
For the Raider men,
Max Pettit was ninth out of 47 runners in the 3,000-meter run at 8:40.27.
Mohamed Bilal raced to eighth place in the 400-meter run with a time of 51.68.Â
