Noel named to Myrtle Beach Invite All-Tournament Team

DAYTON/MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Wright State forward Brandon Noel has been named to the Myrtle Beach Invitational all-tournament team following his play in the three games in South Carolina, the tournament has announced.
Noel turned in two 20-plus point performances and finished with a 19.3 points per game average as Wright State played against stacked mid-major competition at the Myrtle Beach Invitational. Noel opened his tournament action a rebound shy of a double-double, finishing with 27 points and nine rebounds, adding three blocks and three steals, in the win over Princeton. He followed that up with a 26-point performance against Bradley and finished the week with five points, six rebounds against South Florida. He finished the tournament shooting 53 percent overall (18-of-34) and was 56 percent (5-of-9) form three-point range while going 85 percent (17-of-20) from the free throw stripe.
Noel averaged just over 36 minutes per contest on the way to the 19.3 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game average, adding four total steals, three blocks and three assists to his final week stat line. His 20.8 points per game average for the year is currently second in the Horizon.
Wright State returns to action on Saturday, November 30 at home inside the Nutter Center against Air Force in the Stars, Stripes and Flight Classic.
