
Women’s Basketball hosts RMU in final conference home matchup

DAYTON – The Wright State women's basketball team remains at home on Wednesday evening when they take on the Robert Morris Colonials. The game is set for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff. Fans can follow the game by watching on ESPN+ or through live stats. Wednesday will be the final regular season matchup at home, and will include a t-shirt giveaway.

The Wright State women's basketball team couldn't close out the afternoon on Saturday as the Raiders fell 77-63 to Northern Kentucky on Senior Day inside the Nutter Center. Kacee Baumhower and Rachel Loobie each finished with 13 points to pace the Raiders, with Loobie notching her second double-double in the last three games as she pulled down a game and career-high 15 rebounds, while also adding three blocks. Baumhower added four assists, while Alexis Hutchison chipped in 10 points, five rebounds and five assists.
HOW THEY ARE STACKING UP
With two weeks remaining in the regular season, Wright State enters Wednesday's contest sitting in fourth place in the Horizon League standings with a 9-8 Horizon League record. The Raiders are looking up at Cleveland State and Green Bay, who share the top seat being 14-2 in HL action. Purdue Fort Wayne is 10-6 in the HL and sits third. WSU is one game up in the win column from Detroit Mercy (8-8), and two up from Milwaukee and Youngstown State (both 8-9).
