The grouping of Mikkel Mathiesen, Andrew Flynn, Shane Ochs, Adam Horn and Timmy Hollenbeck will tee off for Wright State, with Kye Fisher as the alternate.
Â
The Raiders have six top-five finishes in 11 total tournaments this season spanning the fall and spring schedule, highlighted by the back-to-back team titles at The Jewell and Wright State Invitational this month. Mathiesen captured the individual title at The Jewell, while Flynn was the Wright State Invitational individual champion earlier this week as six Raiders finished inside the top 10. Ochs also has an individual win of his own this spring, coming back at the Peoples Golf Championship in early March.
Â
The Raiders' seven team HL titles are tied for the second-most in Horizon League history with Detroit Mercy, trailing only Cleveland State's 10 team titles. Wright State has finished first or second in each of the last four Horizon League Championships. On the individual side, Wright State's eight titles lead all schools, with Mathiesen claiming the 2022 individual crown and former Raider Tyler Goecke capturing last season's title. Mathiesen set a pair of HL records on the way to his 2022 title, carding the lowest single round score (65) and the lowest total 54-hole score (203) in League history, while Wright State holds the lowest team round score in HL history after its 277 card in the third round of the 2000 Championship.
Â
The El Campeon Course at the Mission Hills Resort & Club will play as a par 72, 6,765 yard course this week for the Horizon League Championship.
