Wright State (6-5-3, 3-0-3 HL)Â will continue its three-game road trip. The road trip will resume on October 16 at Green Bay and continue to Milwaukee on October 19.

The Raiders and the Vikings spent the first 45 minutes feeling each other out. The two squads combined for nine shots, with six of them coming from Cleveland State. The Vikings fired four of those first-half shots on goal, but they were all controlled by
Kiera Sarka.

Wright State ramped up its pressure in the second half, firing 11 total shots, five of which were on goal. WSU had a golden opportunity in the 81
st minute when Sarka sent a goal kick to the halfway line that
Olivia Stroud settled. Stroud then turned to dribble the ball into space, later playing a pass through to
Samara Nunn. The senior got the ball in stride and slotted it past the Cleveland State goalie, but was ruled offside.

In the box score, the two sides were even with 14 shots apiece. Wright State led in shots on goal (7-5), but trailed Cleveland State in corner kick opportunities (7-9).
Kaitlyn Eyink and
Zara Graff played all 90 minutes in defense for the Raiders en route to the team's sixth shutout of the season.
