Howey in the Hills, FL- Three golfers are in the top 10 in the individual championship and the Raiders hold a three-stroke lead heading into the final day of the Horizon League Championship.
All five golfers were within four strokes of each other on Sunday, led by Timmy Hollenbeck's one-over 73. Hollenbeck birdied his first two holes of the day and carded four overall on his round. His 73 was the seventh-best score on Sunday, a day that saw only one golfer break par and another five shoot even.
Adam Horn moved up into ninth on Sunday after his two-over 74. Like Hollenbeck, Horn birdied the par-4 10th, one of his three birdies on the day. He was two shots better than Shane Ochs and Brock Rumpke, who each shot a 76 on Sunday. Ochs carded a pair of birdies and his second eagle in as many rounds, making quick work of the 353-yard par 4 9th, needing just two shots to hole out. Ochs now sits in fifth place overall, five shots behind Individual leader Titus Boswell of IU-Indy. Rumpke and Andrew Flynn were both steady on Sunday, carding one and two birdies, respectfully on the way to a 76 and a 77.
As a team, Wright State sits at +18, three ahead of IU Indy and Cleveland State. The Vikings and Robert Morris were the big movers on Sunday, with the Vikings moving up two spots into second and RMU jumping up three spots into fourth. The Raiders will look to secure the Horizon League title on Monday. Tee times for Wright State on Monday morning start at 8:20 with Andrew Flynn and close with Shane Ochs at 9:00.
