Raiders back on the road Sunday at IU Indy

DAYTON - The Wright State men's basketball team hits the road for the first time in 2026 as the Raiders make the short trip to take on IU Indy. Tip is set for 2 p.m., and fans can follow the action several ways - watching on ESPN+, via live stats or by tuning in to the Wright State Radio Network - 101.5 FM 'The Fridge' and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the radio feed.
Fans can tune into 101.5 FM 'The Fridge' or WING 1410 AM live over the air in the Dayton metro area, as well stream the station live nationwide through a variety of free streaming apps. LAST TIME OUTÂ
Wright State closed Thursday afternoon with seven of the final nine points as the Raiders won their third-straight contest with a 79-70 victory over visiting Milwaukee in Horizon League action. Michael Imariagbe finished with a game-high 17 points, matching his season-best scoring output, to pace five Raiders in double figures. Imariagbe tallied 11 of his 17 points in the second half as he went 9-of-10 at the free throw stripe while grabbing four rebounds with one assist, one steal and a block in 26 minutes of action. Kellen Pickett notched his first collegiate double-double with 11 points and a career-best 10 rebounds while adding two blocks.
GONE STREAKING
Wright State enters Sunday on its first three-game winning streak since February 2024 when the Raiders had a home win over RMU and road victories against Detroit Mercy and Oakland. The last time the Raiders won four-plus games in a row was a six-game winning streak in February and March 2022 to close the regular season, win the Horizon League tournament and NCAA First Four game.
STARTING THE NEW YEAR RIGHT
With Thursday's win over Milwaukee, Wright State has won its first game of the new calendar year in each of the last seven seasons. The Raiders are 21-6 in their first games each January dating back to January 3, 2000.
A SERIES CALLED JAG(S)
Wright State and IU Indy (formerly IUPUI) have previously met 29 times entering Sunday's contest, with the Raiders leading the series 25-4 having won 19 of the last 21 matchups overall.Â
EYING IU INDY
- IU Indy is 4-12 overall and 0-5 in Horizon League play, entering Sunday on a three-game losing streak. The Jags last win was back on Dec. 16 over Miami University-Middletown, while their last Division I win came against Morehead State on Nov. 29.
- IU Indy is 1-9 on the road, with three of its four wins coming at home - over IU Columbus, Miami University-Middletownand Morehead State - along with the lone road win at Eastern Michigan on Nov. 14.
BLOCK PARTY
Entering Sunday, Wright State has recorded nine games with five or more blocks. The Raiders finished the 2024-25 season with six such games. Andrea Holden leads the Raiders with 23 blocks - currently the second-most in the Horizon League - followed by Michael Imariagbe with 15 and Kellen Pickett with 10.
