Men's Basketball set for Sunday action in northeast Ohio

DAYTON - The Wright State men's basketball team is set for Sunday Horizon League road action at Cleveland State, with tipoff set for 2 p.m. Fans can follow the action several ways - watching on ESPN+, via live stats or by tuning in to the Wright State Radio Network - 101.5 FM 'The Fridge' and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the radio feed.

Fans can tune into 101.5 FM 'The Fridge' or WING 1410 AM live over the air in the Dayton metro area, as well stream the station live nationwide through a variety of free streaming apps. LAST TIME OUT
A second half scoring push came up short for Wright State on Thursday night, as the Raiders fell 77-74 to visiting Detroit Mercy inside the Nutter Center. Michael Cooper and Andrea Holden each finished with 15 points, with Cooper notching all 15 points in the second half – including a personal 10-point scoring run in the middle of the larger Raider second half scoring spurt. TJ Burch was the third Wright State player in double figures with 11 points, while Kellen Pickett finished with nine points while adding a game-best four blocks.

RAIDERS HIT A SPEED BUMP
The Raiders have won 11 of their last 14 contests dating back to late December but have lost two of the last three games. Wright State has five more regular season games remaining, with three coming on the road.

THE VIKING AGE
The Raiders and Vikings have met 87 times previously, with Wright State coming away with 45 wins. The first-ever meeting came Feb. 12, 1972, a Cleveland State 72-62 win in Cleveland. The first matchup in Dayton came Jan. 21, 1974, a 69-45 Raider win (third meeting overall). Cleveland State won the first meeting back on Jan. 21 despite 14 points from Michael Cooper and 11 points from TJ Burch, Solomon Callaghan and Kellen Pickett,

Wright State has won 14 of the last 22 contests in the series overall, which is the longest series all-time in Raider history.

- Cleveland State is 10-16 overall with a 6-9 Horizon League mark, coming off back-to-back losses at IU Indy and at home against Robert Morris. Prior to the losses, Cleveland State had won five straight games.
- Cleveland State is currently 6-5 at home, winning three of its last five home contests.

Four regular rotation players are connecting at over 50.0 percent from the floor, led by Andrea Holden (60.2), followed by Kellen Pickett (57.7), Michael Imariagbe (56.8) and Sam Alamutu (51.5). Two more regulars - Dominic Pangonis (47.7) and Michael Cooper (44.8) - are just off the shooting pace.

Andrea Holden leads the Raiders with 34 blocks - currently the third-most in the Horizon League - followed by Kellen Pickett with 32 and Michael Imariagbe with 20.
